Are you a lesbian, gay or bi woman, or a non-binary, trans or queer person who lives in the Manchester area and likes running? Want to go for an easy, low-pressure social run with like-minded people in a safe and friendly setting? If so, why not try one of our upcoming special Sunday social runs?
Manchester Frontrunners is proud to announce the return of our special Sunday morning social runs for lesbian, gay and bi women, as well as trans, non-binary and queer people. We'll have distances (approx. 3 to 5 km) and paces to suit all, taking place in local Manchester parks. What's more, you'll be able to join us after the run for a friendly chat with a cup of coffee and a cake or sandwich! `
Upcoming dates and venues:
Sunday 17th November 2024, 11 am: Alexandra Park, Whalley Range
Sunday 8th December 2024, 11 am: Levenshulme (exact location TBC*)
As well as any current club members who are women, trans, non-binary, or queer, these runs are open to non-members in the aforementioned categories who would be interested in running with Manchester Frontrunners, but would rather run in a more relaxed yet just as friendly environment as our usual runs.
If you're not a current club member but would like to come along, please contact our co-chair Jacqui (she/her) at co-chairs@manchesterfrontrunners.org for more information. We look forward to seeing you!
*Current as of Thursday 7th November. Location will be announced soon and this post will be updated accordingly.
